But why blood testing?
Mark, a pharmacist and an avid fitness enthusiast, spent nearly 6 years living in South America where he got regular blood tests to keep an eye on his health. These blood tests were inexpensive and easy to find in any city. After returning to Ireland, he was shocked to find that there were no easily-accessible clinics to get his bloods checked.
So Mark created The Health Lab to make preventive health screening and medically useful blood testing easier to access in Ireland. People may need blood testing for routine screening, investigation of symptoms, monitoring of an existing condition or treatment, or because another healthcare professional has requested particular bloods.
Mark's aim is to make access to professional sample collection and accredited laboratory testing straightforward, with convenient locations, transparent pricing and fast turnaround times. No days of work needed with early appointment times in places where people already are: pharmacies, health centres and wellness clinics.… you name it, there’s almost nowhere we won’t go to take blood.
