ClearDerm is a GP-led online acne clinic founded by Dr Tara Treacy,

a GP with a special interest in dermatology, offering expert-led assessment

and structured treatment plans for adults with acne, nationwide across the

Republic of Ireland.

 

The Health Lab and ClearDerm work together to provide streamlined

blood testing for patients undergoing treatment monitoring as part of

their ClearDerm care plan.

ClearDerm offers two care pathways for adults with acne:
 

- The Acne Care Plan supports patients with mild-to-moderate acne through

monthly video reviews and ongoing treatment adjustment.
 

- The Advanced Acne Programme is for more persistent or treatment-resistant acne that needs closer clinical supervision and monitoring, including regular bloods where appropriate.

 

Both pathways are built around continuity of care - patients are supported for the full course of treatment, not just a single appointment.​

Patients enrolled in a ClearDerm care plan may require periodic blood monitoring as part of their treatment. Developed in partnership with ClearDerm, this monitoring pathway is ideal for patients who need a convenient, local blood draw while continuing their care under their ClearDerm clinician's supervision - with results sent securely and reviewed as part of their ongoing plan.
