Service Description
The Quantum Men's Health Monitoring Panel is a clinician-designed blood test for patients under the care of Quantum Men's Health. It is used for ongoing monitoring of hormone treatment and men's-health care, supporting clinical review of treatment response, safety and relevant health markers. This panel is intended for Quantum patients where monitoring has been requested by their clinical team. This test is suitable for men aged 18 and over who want: • a comprehensive health check • insight into testosterone and hormone balance • reassurance around prostate health • objective data to support lifestyle or medical decisions What is included in the panel: Full Blood Count (FBC) A broad overview of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets which can highlight issues related to immunity, oxygen delivery and general blood health. - Haemoglobin - Haematocrit - Mean Cell Haemoglobin (MCH) - Mean Cell Haemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) - Mean Cell Volume (MCV) - Red Blood Cell Count - White Blood Cell Count - Platelet Count - Basophils - Lymphocytes - Eosinophils - Monocytes - Neutrophils Liver Function Test: - Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) - Alanine Aminostransferase (ALT) - Aspartate Trasnferase (AST) - Gamma-glutamyl Transferase (GGT) - Total Bilirubin - Albumin Kidney Function: - Creatinine - eGFR - Chloride - Potassium - Phosphate - Sodium - Urea Heart Health - Total Cholesterol - HDL Cholesterol - LDL Cholesterol - Total Cholesterol / HDL Cholesterol Ratio - Triglycerides Blood Glucose High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP) Hormone Markers These markers provide insight into both overall testosterone levels and how much hormone is biologically available to the body. - Total Testosterone - Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) - Free Androgen Index (FAI) - Oestradiol - Progesterone - Follicle-Stimulating Hormone - Luteinising Hormone - Prolactin Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) An essential marker for bone health, immune function and overall wellbeing. Prostate Health Marker - Total Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Used as an indicator of prostate health and prostate stress. Turnaround Time: Most results are back in 1-2 working days. PLEASE NOTE: We recommend fasting for 8 - 12 hours before your test. You may still consume water. In fact, it's better for blood draws if you are well hydrated!
