The Silver Blood Test includes all tests from the Standard Plus Blood Test with additional tests for thyroid function and tumour markers. This test includes: Full Blood Count including red cells, white cells, platelets and key blood health markers. Liver Health: Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Albumin, Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Gamma-Glutamyltransferase (GGT), Total Bilirubin. Kidney Health & Electrolytes: Creatinine, Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR), Urea, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Phosphate, Calcium (adjusted). Cholesterol & Cardiovascular Health: Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, Total Cholesterol / HDL Cholesterol Ratio, Triglycerides, High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP). Diabetes & Blood Sugar: Glucose, HbA1c. Inflammation: C-Reactive Protein (CRP), High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP). Iron & Nutritional Health: Ferritin, Vitamin D. NOTICE REGARDING TUMOUR MARKERS: PSA levels can be raised for reasons other than prostate cancer, including an enlarged prostate (BPH), prostatitis, urinary infection, recent ejaculation, cycling or recent prostate procedures. To help improve accuracy, avoid ejaculation, cycling and prostate examinations for 48 hours before testing. CA125 can be raised for non-cancerous reasons including menstruation, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pregnancy, pelvic infections, recent surgery and some liver conditions. AVOID TESTING DURING MENSTRUATION and let us know about any recent surgery or relevant health conditions. Turnaround Time: Most results available in 1-3 working days.
